Shawn Johnson addresses an online rumor that she’s pregnant with her fourth baby.
On Thursday, February 26, the former gymnast took to her Instagram Story to share a screenshot of a TikTok video featuring a clip from Shawn and husband Andrew East’s “Couple Things” podcast.

The video’s caption read “4th Pregnancy Announcement! Veteran Mom Shares All.”
Shawn wrote, “SPAM! NOT TRUE AND NOT OUR ACCOUNT HAHAHAHAH this was our announcement for being pregnant with BEAR!”

The pregnancy rumor comes nearly one year after Shawn exclusively told Us Weekly that her family feels “complete” with three kids.
What comes next?
Shawn explained that she wouldn’t feel physically able to handle the demands of a fourth pregnancy, having welcomed her three children via C-section.
She would be open to adopting a child in the future, as she previously stated she loves babies and would love more siblings for her kids.
Shawn experienced a miscarriage in 2017 and previously opened up about feeling guilty about delivering Drew via C-section.
However, Shawn ultimately changed her perspective after holding her daughter in her arms.
Shawn told Us Weekly in March 2025, “My daughter’s 5, and then we have a 3-year-old and 1-year-old boy. It’s a lot. It’s perfect. I feel complete.”
She continued, “I always tell my husband, if we have a fourth, it’ll be an oopsie down the road. But it’s not happening intentionally anytime soon.”
Shawn said she would love more babies, but she still feels like she is at capacity.
If they ever went down the fourth route, she would definitely think about adoption over a pregnancy.
Shawn wrote via Instagram in 2019, “After holding our sweet girl in my arms and being told everything went well and she had made it to us safely, I could [not] have cared less.”
She continued, “My/our world no longer has anything to do with us but everything to do with her. It’s all for her and I will forever do anything for this girl that I love more than I ever could imagine.”
